CMD Group (The Christian Missions Development Group) has setup a Ventrilo Server that allows users that have speakers and a microphone on their PC to "Chat" online with other users. This is a nice way to communicate as it is completely free and you can talk all you wish, worldwide! The client software is free to download and you can click on the link below for instructions on how to install Ventrilo and set it up to connect to our server. It really is not difficult and we believe you will be very pleased with the service.
You will notice when you connect that there are "rooms" that you can enter to listen, or chat. Some rooms are setup for Churches to broadcast sermons or programs. When you are in a room that belongs to a Church you should refrain from talking so you do not disrupt the broadcast for other users.
There are numerous Chat Rooms setup... You can invite friends or collegues to join you in these rooms and discuss whatever is on your mind. Or, you can join a conversation with other users, introduce yourself and "chat" with them.
The Conference Rooms are reserved for conferences and you can only participate by invitation only.
